Anyone who will help to take the Kindness FIRST Campaign forward in their organisation, school or community should attend. Participants do not need to hold a senior or formal leadership role.
There is no set minimum beyond one participant. A maximum of 15 people may attend each training session.
People who complete the training and take the Campaign forward are known as Kindness FIRST Executives.

There is no formal minimum age. Children can take part and may be especially proud to hold the title of Kindness FIRST Executive. Where children participate, their involvement should be supported appropriately by their school, organisation or responsible adults.
The training explains what Kindness FIRST means, the Campaign’s aims and objectives, and how to build, nurture and sustain a successful local campaign. It also introduces participants to the practical Campaign toolkit
The training is a one-off session lasting approximately 90 minutes. It can be supplemented by the e-learning programme, and delivery arrangements, including the date and joining details, will be confirmed when the session is booked.
The training is delivered virtually by one of our Kindness FIRST Executive Trainers.
Yes. The training is highly recommended because it provides the full information needed to launch and develop the Campaign effectively. Investing approximately 90 minutes at the outset can save considerable time later, avoid the need to reinvent the wheel and provide access to updates and examples of good practice.
The e-learning covers the basics of how to build and sustain a Kindness FIRST Campaign. It is designed to reinforce the training and provide a useful reference after the live session.
No. You do not have to complete both. You can choose either the Kindness FIRST training or the e-learning, depending on what works best for you.
The toolkit contains practical templates, plans, action plans and sample statements from senior leaders. These ready-to-use resources help organisations, schools and communities get started quickly without having to create everything from scratch.
There are no plans for a formal network at present. However, this is something that may be explored as the Campaign develops, particularly as a way of sharing ideas, experiences and good practice.
